The earliest record we have of the Kimberley library is from 1896, when there were 105 members listed, but only 76 books!

Included among the titles listed are such gems as Ivanhoe, King Solomon's Mines, and Jane Eyre. Except for a few years in the 1960's, there has been a public library in Kimberley ever since - but the collection now has some 8,000 titles.

It is housed in the Community Hall in the village, and is a great community gathering place.
