Position Description:

Position Title Library
Assistant : Casual/Relief
Summary:
Provides patrons service at the
three branches of the Grey
Highlands Public Library.
Reporting Relationship:
Reports to Branch Head
Hours: Occasional/relief as
required.
Experience: Minimum
post secondary diploma or degree.
One year experience in a related
field. Must be willing to
take additional library training
to be considered for additional
responsibilities.

Scope: Responsible

Job Title- Assistant Branch
Manager (Temporary)
Summary-Responsible
for coordinating and managing
all aspects of a full service
branch of the Grey Highlands
Public Library. Responsible for
ensuring that all board policies
and procedures are followed at
the Branch Level. Develops
library programs and services
and consultation with the CEO.
Open 32.5 hours per week, with
supervision of a staff of 3or
more.
Reporting Relationship:
Reports to the CEO of the Grey
Highlands Public Library
Hours:
28 hours per week
Education/Experience:
Library Technician Diploma or
MLIS degree preferred. At least
two years experience working in
a managerial position in the
public library environment

Branch CAP site
Property-Ensures
that the branch and grounds are
well maintained, user friendly,
and that the branch offers a
welcoming environment to all
users
