Room Rentals

We have two meetings rooms and one study pod that can be rented by the public. Before making a request for a booking, please review our Room Rental policy and the Library’s Code of Conduct. You must be at least 18 years of age to request a booking. The name on the booking will be responsible for any damages incurred to Library spaces. If your room request is within the next 24 hours, please call the appropriate branch to inquire about room availability. Note: The Library is an alcohol-free facility. 

After hours bookings are available. The key must be picked up during operating hours and returned in the drop box after use or to the Library the following day (if the space is open). 

To cancel a booking, please provide verbal or written notice of at least 48 hours.

No charge for use by non-profit community groups, but donations are accepted.

$10/hr +HST for all other groups. $60+HST for 8 hours.


Board Room – Walter Harris Memorial Library – Markdale (Unavailable until May 2024)

*The Walter Harris Memorial Library board room will be unavailable during the month of April 2024.

  • The person listed on the booking is responsible for proper equipment use and care.
